This webpage was setup to help internet users remove SpywareStrike (or Spyware Strike) and its pop-up messages, adware programs and Trojans from their PCs.
SpywareStrike
SpywareStrike is a rogue anti-spyware program that infects PCs through a flaw in Windows using a Trojan horse. It stealth installs a program which displays pop-ups that have all the appearance of genuine system alert messages warning users about a "dangerous infection". The pop-ups are actually a deceptive advertisement designed to "nag" users until they download SpywareStrike. A downloader Trojan may also download SpywareStrike and other programs without the user's knowledge or consent. To stop the fake alert message pop-ups, the hidden program that's producing them needs to be removed along with any associated installer programs and downloader Trojans.

Technical Support
P.S. Microsoft has released a security update to fix the Windows Meta File vulnerability that's allowing downloader trojans to easily infect PCs. If your PC does not have Automatic Updates then visit the Microsoft website and download the latest security updates. This will protect your PC against future infections but will not remove existing infections.
